Apart from the long term Green Deal, the European Commission has also set some more
urgent goals to deal with more urgent matters. They are called EU missions. The following picture shows the most prominent missions for 2030. Both the adaptation to climate change and the climate-neutral and smart cities deal with adaptation to global warming on an urban scale.

With our urban group we would like to address these topics and focus on the topics like:
- Climate adaptation of our urban environment
- Nature inclusive design
- Managing of water and energy in urban context
- Incorporating bio diversity in our built environment ecosystem
The group will require input from all disciplines within Oosterhoff, but we also need to enlarge the team, gather knowledge and attain projects in the field of Urban Physics.
