Team Oosterhoff wins awards at ‘Doe & Durf’ challange!

We are proud to let you know that team Oosterhoff won the audience award and jury award of the ‘Doe & Durf’ challenge of Koninklijke NLingenieurs! During the final, the five finalists were given the opportunity to present their idea for a circular Netherlands in 2050. The public could vote for their favorite via a live stream. The jury and the public were convinced with the idea of ‘connECTOR’: a practical solution for circularity in the building sector.

With this tool, the impact of construction is limited because building materials such as flat glass and facade elements can be reused in a high-quality way in new designs. At the same time, it ensures that architects retain their design freedom. ConnECTOR is an idea from Charley Meyer, Casper La Grouw, Wouter Lasonder, Femke Verlegh and Michiel Van Der Elst who work for different Oosterhoff companies: ABT bv, abtWassenaar | Inventief met techniek, bbn adviseurs and ABT België nv.
